Relaxed walking holidays in small groups

What a wonderful week this has been. Partly because of Spiros, our guide, this holiday will go down as a particularly successful one. Walked in places where you wouldn't go on your own, swam at a secret beach, sunset hike (wear long pants because you will be eaten by mosquitoes), boat trip to beautiful caves, unfortunately didn't see a turtle and swimming in the sea.... wich is so blue!! Eating with the locals in cozy taverns and colorful coffee shops for delicious coffee.
A touch of history and old buildings, a surprising “silly Pietje” museum where you will experience one surprise after another. Finally, an olive and cheese factory, we arranged the wine tasting ourselves😁

Already 10 days back from Zakynthos under the guidance of Aisha and Ellen, in collaboration with the good English-speaking Greek guide Spiros, I still regularly have my head in Greece/Zakynthos. The beautiful, varied landscape of this island and the beautiful blue sea in combination with the inspiring leadership of Ellen, Aisha and guide Spiros made my first holiday in Greece a more than beautiful whole. The program was very varied with wonderful adventurous walks, culture, facts by Spiros, beautiful views, delicious food and conviviality of all members of this group. In short; highly recommended!

Enjoying my wonderful trip with Experience Zakynthos. The group was fun and engaging, the island was amazing, the Mirimar Apartments apartment complex was beautifully located with good facilities and our guide Spiros from Fora Zakynthos was a fantastic source of knowledge about the island. I look back with great pleasure on my holiday on Zakynthos at the end of April 2024.
What a luxury to be accompanied by a local guide for the entire week, with a small group. Every morning Spiros picked us up by car. We have beautiful walks with him made, visited monasteries, discovered many sights, ate delicious food and laughed a lot.
It felt relaxed from the start. Also compliments to Ellen who made everything very well
had organized. This holiday week was very worthwhile.

Had a wonderful week of walking and stayed in Mirimar apartments with 2 travel companions. We had a great time. Pleasant rooms close to each other, good beds, fantastic views and perfect care with a delicious extensive breakfast every morning and regularly clean towels and sheets. So recommended!

I participated in the Zakynthos spring trip. I had a wonderful week and can recommend this holiday to anyone who does not like mass tourism. Everything was perfect: the group (small), the accommodations (quiet), the guide Spiros (great), the atmosphere, the food, the walking, the many wild flowers, the weather. The week is very varied. It is not only walking but also visiting churches, monasteries, small museums and a boat trip. Everything expertly guided by the guide Spiros who knows a lot about the island and takes you to nice non-touristy places. At the end of the afternoon there was usually time to swim and sunbathe by the pool (or sea). In short, this holiday is highly recommended.

In April 2023 I walked for 7 days with Spiros, our Greek guide, and two friends. The four of us had a great time together! Zakynthos in spring turned out to be a big surprise. Spiros gave a lot of interesting information about plants and traditions of Zakynthos. We saw this beautiful island from north to south, from east to west. That's why I really recommend walking with Fora Zakynthos. The love and enthusiasm that Spiros shows for Zakynthos is so inspiring that you will really feel it yourself! I admire his flexibility to change the program. For example, one day the wind was too strong so we couldn't take a boat trip. He easily organized the trip on another day. I also admire his attentive attention. 'Are you OK? ', he often asked during the day. After all, he knows a lot of people. And so we were able to visit very special places.

I had a very nice walking trip in Greece, on the island of Zakyntos.

Saw beautiful places and a monastery, churches, a cheese factory, a museum. Delicious food in local restaurants, and a very nice group. Also a nice and fun guide who knew everything about the island. Everything was very well arranged and organized by Ellen and Aisha.
